Company Milestones

1988	Steve and Jenny Chang and Eva Chen found Trend Micro™ in Los Angeles, California.
1990	Company's first consumer product PC-cillin™ is introduced.
1991	ServerProtect™ is launched into the corporate IT market.
1992	Company expands and moves headquarters to Japan.
1996	Trend Micro introduces Interscan™ VirusWall, solidifying its leadership position in the corporate IT market.
1998	IPO in Japan - stock opens at 8300 yen, almost double the initial offering price.
2005	Eva Chen becomes company’s second CEO.
2008	Company celebrates 20-year anniversary and launches Trend Micro Smart Protection Network, rendering traditional approach to content security obsolete.
