Beta Test Coordinator
Job Description
- Test beta builds, and ensure that they are appropriate for external posting.
- Assist the QA Engineer, PDG and other Product Development Life Cycle stakeholders during the beta phase of a product or engine
- Receives and processes product issues, and maintain regular contact with the customer throughout the case resolution process in accordance with the BTC Guidelines.
- To reassign all open tracker cases, issues and feature requests, to PDG when the beta program has ended.
- File product enhancement requests to Feature plan for Product Manager Review.
- Review product documentation, and provide necessary input.
- Remaining issues after the GM build cut are to be files to Team Track, to request for documentation under the Known Issues section of the Admin Guide and ReadMe.
- Send a complete case report to project stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Review the test script summary, and send to project stakeholders at the beginning and end of each week (Monday and Friday)
- Attend the following product milestone meetings - Beta Entrance, Beta Exit, GM Endorsement - and provide input
Requirements
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent
- Basic Malware Knowledge
- Atleast a year of experience in handling products and has 'Level 2' knowledge, troubleshooting and debugging skills in TrendMicro Products. And understands the TrendMicro Core Technology;
- Understands the Testing Methodologies in the Product Development Life Cycle
- Can Interpret Technical Documentations for the TrendMicro products
- Good Communication Skills, Presentation Skills and willing to develop Project Management Skills
- At least one Level 3 product certification(PCC\TIS and OSCE\CSM)
- Platform Training (MCP 210), MCSA, LAN, Firewall, Architecture Troubleshooting (MCP-210) and Advance Troubleshooting (are a plus)
