Core Tech Certification Engineer (Product Certification)

Job Responsibilities:

CTCC is looking for talented, fast-learning, and highly motivated individuals who will join the Core Tech Product Certification Team that will examine, validate, and test Trend Micro products against live malware samples.

You will be working closely with project managers, software developers, and Core Tech RD to ensure that Trend Micro products and core modules provide total protection to our customers.

You will also test product modules, create test plans and specifications, design tools for automated testing, execute test cases, and report product defects.

You will be expected to acquire the knowledge on how the different product functionality works and how different Core Tech modules interface with products.

You will also be engaging in research projects focusing on Product Innovations that can help enhance product clean-up capabilities.

Successful candidate would also be responsible for setting up the processes required to promote the overall quality of the Trend Micro products. The candidate is expected to communicate clearly and effectively.

Minimum Job Requirements:

- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficient on different Windows platforms, architecture, and networking (Knowledge in Linux or other OS is a plus)
- Knowledge on different core technology modules such as VSAPI, DCE, SSAPI, AEGIS and NSC
- Deep understanding in different web technology and malware technology (virus, root kits, spam, phishing)
- Development and/or test automation experience
- Skilled in black / white box testing, test automation, and releasing successful and high quality products/software
- Understanding of the Product Release Lifecycle is a plus
- Project Management experience is a plus
