Proposal Analyst

Job Description:

• Plan, coordinate, and prepare proposals.

• Coordinate the development and compilation of information from functional departments.
• Research and analyze historical data to support proposals.
• Develop base cost elements and ensure that cost estimates are within the proposed scope of work. Interface with customer representatives during fact-finding and proposal pricing justifications.
• Participate as a team member on proposal teams in support of proposal efforts. Prepare and present written and oral reports.
• Establishes and enforces all priorities and deadlines for production requirements (desktop publishing, graphics, and printing).
• Works with the capture and proposal manager to support reviews, tracking proposal progress, and adherence to all RFP requirements, compliance, proposal page allocations, style guide, page layout and use an RFP software analysis tool.
• work with Knowledge Management to keep reusable assets available and up-to-date;
REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of work experience in a professional services or consulting firm
• BA or BS degree
• Basic familiarity with internet/intranet technology and working knowledge of and experience with the following software:
ï‚§ Windows Operating Environment
ï‚§ MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
ï‚§ Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
ï‚§ Internet research capabilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially working with proposal team members and executives
• Excellent customer service skills and experience

Additional Qualifications:
• Knowledge of project management a plus
• Experience in proposal preparation analysis a plus
• Experience with developing and presenting briefings and training materials a plus
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
