SQL Database Administrator
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or related discipline)
Minimum 3-5 years related work experience with the following:
Direct support of MS SQL/MySQL servers as the primary database administrator
Proven experience deploying and maintaining MS SQL/MySQL Server in high availability clusters using Microsoft's clustering technology
MS SQL Server DBA Certification (MCDBA)
Proven experience with Relational Data Modeling, Logical and Physical Database Design
Proven experience tuning MS SQL/MySQL Server for optimal performance
Proven experience securing MS SQL/MySQL Server
Proven experience deploying and maintaining reporting systems for both internal and external customers
Strong understanding of Microsoft products such as Windows 2003, Active Directory, Exchange and IIS, UNIX Environment (FreeBSD, CentOS, Red Hat Linux)
Ability to work closely with peers and team members in a collaborative manner
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
