Systems Engineer
Job Description:
- Performs systems research, monitoring, and troubleshooting to improve performance, availability, and security posture of key information systems.
- Responsible in administration, documentation & planning of supported systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and be able to prioritize deadlines.
- Coordinates with vendors in implementing new services & troubleshooting incidents.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of proven track record in supporting enterprise or customer facing systems
- Strong knowledge & support/administration experience in Windows OS and/or Linux (preferably Redhat)
- Knowledgeable on Internet technology (e.g. IIS, iShare, CMS, FTP)
- Knowledgeable on basic network troubleshooting & networking services, protocols & technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Subnetting, etc.)
- Knowledgeable on monitoring tools & technologies (SNMP, WMI, perfmon, etc.)
- Familiar with Active Directory, Email systems, firewall
- Analytical
- Quality driven
- Good English communication skills
- Project management skills
- RHCE or MCSE is an advantage
