Systems Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

The Systems Quality Assurance Engineer for the Whitelisting team is responsible for ensuring quality of automation systems that will identify and classify applications as goodware. The post is responsible for developing and implementing test plans as well as leading efforts to automate testing. The systems should integrate with the rest of the Core Tech system architecture, specifically the Smart Protection Network. S/he will also be tasked with creating productivity tools for the team, for example, an automation tool that will enable partner software companies to securely submit codes and/or hashes of codes to our Whitelist repository. Other tasks such as research and development of new methods/technologies may be assigned for the development of Trend Micro’s whitelist business.

Requirements:
Preferably 2+ years of C++ programming experience, C# (i.e. C/C#/C++) as the preferred development Platforms
Requires B.S. Computer Science
Other skills desired: software reverse engineering, systems analysis and design, test planning, systems programming (windows), and extensive interest in system security.
