Threat Coordinator
Job Description
- Operations
- Subject Matter Expert for threat related cases within the region
- Join engineers on conference calls to deal with infections
- Conduct testing between Core Technology solutions and Product Implementations during escalations or outbreaks
- Handle AV related escalations from the team
- Act as a backup for other Virus Coordinators in their absence
- Must be on call for any off hour escalations or outbreaks
- Drive initiatives to improve regional segment's performance
- Keep abreast with latest technology
- Coach and mentor engineers on threat technology and process adherence
- Create knowledge base, Blog, and Wiki entries for emerging issues
Requirements
- BS degree plus 3+ years industry experience or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in Anti-Virus and/or security industry, understanding of Virus Outbreak Lifecycle a must
- Advanced Technical Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CSSIP, etc) are highly recommended
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- International/Global Support and/or services consulting experience highly desirable
- Expert level understanding of internet security, advanced networking, and malware/spyware/antispam solutions
