Job Description:

As a Sr. Network Engineer you will plays a key role in developing and supporting the global network strategy and architecture. It provides network architecture design, implement and 3rd level troubleshooting expertise in support of the global network infrastructure. This requires a blend of strong technical and process management experience, a solid understanding of the technical aspects of IT infrastructure, service application and experience integrating SaaS into IT network infrastructures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architecture and capacity planning of global network infrastructure
  • Technical lead on complex network projects to ensure end-to-end analysis, integration and solution development.
  • Providing network technical guidance for external projects and solutions
  • Analyze collected data from the global network infrastructure and identify problem areas that need improvement or redesign
  • Stay up to date and test new network infrastructure technologies, identify and get approval for new ideas that can be implemented in the global network infrastructure
  • Stay up to date with developments in the network security threat and in measures to counter them
  • Develop and improve network monitoring systems for the global network infrastruture in cooperation with 24x7 NOC
  • Document designs and changes for acceptance in production of the global network infrastructure
  • Communication and negotiation with vendors and 3rd parties regarding technical solutions or technical details in agreements
  • Assist in financial analysis, business case and justification for initiatives.
  • Prepare and present solutions to management
  • Performs other duties as required.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  1. 6 years of experience in routing and switching domain and specialized in BGP, OSPF, Rapid-PVST and MST.
  2. 6 years of experience in layer 4 server load sharing domain and specialized in SLB, and cache technology.
  3. 6 years of experience in Firewall and VPN security devices and specialized in IPsec tunnel set up between difference vendors' devices.
  4. 4 years of experience in IT architecture and specialized in three tiers- web, app, and database architectures.
  5. Effective Communications

  7. Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Ability to work in a team environment
  10. Available to work flexible hours as required by assigned projects or system problems
  11. Available to participate in after-hours/weekend on-call
